“OLD MACDONALD HAD A FARM, GM, GM, OHHHHHH” WAIT, WHAT?”
Redwood, with its proud partner Humanaut, took a meaningful campaign called ‘New MacDonald had a farm’ in order to raise the awareness and educate the public on organic food. From this campaign from advocacy group Only Organic, a beloved group of kids sings along the classic tune of “Old MacDonald”. Except, this version includes terms like GMOs (Genetically modified organisms), hormone needle and pesticide. This campaign enlightened the viewers, as well as parents in the video, on on-going agricultural issues while urging them to take “The New MacDonald pledge,” to support less toxic chemicals in our food. In fact, Redwood was at the heart of this campaign by taking the content viral (#NewMacDonald) as well as to our sponsors and media.
