Kia Motors America needed a comprehensive strategy to build buzz on social media around the new Kia Trail’ster concept car during the 2015 Chicago Auto Show, and Redwood was ready to oblige.
Redwood designed a custom Social Display in the Kia Social Media Lounge at CAS 2015. The Social Display pulled in posts from Twitter, Instagram, and Vine users sharing content with the hashtag #KIATrailster. Redwood also connected with Vine and Instagram influencers attending the Chicago Auto Show (#CAS15) to coordinate content creation live from the event around the unveiling of the new Kia Trail’ster concept car.
The video display brought the buzz to life in the Kia space at CAS, helping attract visitors to interact with the brand in the Social Media Lounge.
Followers showed their love for the car’s sleek lines and designs through the comments on the posts. Some followers mentioned they were at the event and loved the Kia Display, while others advocated their love for their own Kia cars.
Overall, the campaign generated strong organic buzz around the unveiling of the Kia Trail’ster concept car, with a total campaign reach of over 550,000, as well as over 8,000 post likes and 100 comments on Instagram and Vine.
